The National Movement is aware of the fact that they will not be able to come to power through elections. They are trying to develop the revolutionary scenario. Nika Melia’s behavior contributes to the process, a member of the parliamentary majority Irakli Zarkua made the statement in the interview in the program “Timely dialogue” on “Georgian Times”
“Melia wants to become a hero, however it is impossible to imagine a hero among the National Movement. These two phenomenon are incompatible”, Irakli Zarkua said. According to the MP, Melia also has party problems and he is trying to prove his advantage to Mikheil Saakashvili.
“I want to tell Melia not to try to prove anything. I can prove directly that you are a stronger figure than Mikheil Saakashvili. However I want to say that these two people are arguing which of them is a greater hero for the party. In fact both of them are provocateurs and both of them are the bankrupt leaders or the bankrupt party,” Zarkua said.
The MP noted that by lifting the immunity for Melia, the parliament made a contribution to the law enforcement process. He reminded the public that a congressman that was suspected of attacking the Capitol in the USA was similarly stripped of his immunity. “The law supreme,” Zarkua said.
