The parties discussed the EUAA agenda and plans and stressed the bilateral and multilectal high-level meetings, including the Georgia-EU Association Council and EaP Summit, their importance and tangible outcomes.
M. Bochorishvili dwelt on the ambitious plan of Georgia to apply for EU membership in 2024.
The Ambassador expressed commitment to supporting Georgia in the realization of its interests.
M. Bochorishvili overviewed the priorities of the country to be achieved as of 2024 in terms of EU integration and underlined the effective EUAA implementation to serve as the basis for the application.
Mr. Hartzell affirmed the intact support of the EU to the EU integration of Georgia and expressed his concern about the boycott of the opposition noting his will to see the opposition MPs participating in the Parliamentary activity.
The parties agreed of the enhancement of the sector cooperation and Parliamentary diplomacy.
