Georgia receives 50,000 special syringes for Pfizer vaccine

Georgia received 50,000 special syringes for the Pfizer vaccine, Deputy Health Minister of Georgia, Tamar Gabunia, announced on Wednesday.

Covid-19 Vaccination Centres will be trained on syringe usage, Gabunia added.

Georgia signed an agreement with COVAX to purchase COVID-19 vaccines for over 700,000 individuals. The first doses of the Pfizer vaccine are due to arrive in Georgia by late February.
