An exhibition of the oldest local currency in China has opened (PHOTO)

An exhibition of ancient Chinese currency has opened at the National Museum of China. The information about this is spread by the State Council.

The exposition combines 200,000 units of ancient currency and more than 200 other types of cultural relics.

Among the exhibits are primitive sea shells, early knife and shovel-shaped coins, paper banknotes used during the Yuan Dynasty.
